Hands On Science in Edmonton, Alberta brings high quality, traveling educational science field trips to your K-6 elementary classroom!

Hands On Science EdmontonWe are experienced, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable workshop facilitators, and we come to your school, bringing all the materials necessary to provide your students with educational experiences that are:

  • tailored to meet learner outcomes from the Alberta Programs of Study
  • organized to maximize learning time
  • hands-on for maximum participation
  • fun and memorable
  • easy-work field trips for teachers
  • less costly than busing your students to out of school destinations
 

What's New?

  • The Grade Two Buoyancy and Boats field trip is now a 1.75 hour field trip, allowing a bit more time for exploring the properties of buoyancy, and for building the paddle boats!
  • Our prices did not change last year, but the 2011-2012 field trip prices have been adjusted due to the increase in the cost of delivering the field trips. 
  • Due to rising fuel costs, a travel fee will be charged to all schools outside Edmonton City limits.
  • All bookings of the Awesome Bridges program must be in a ground floor room.  If your school has indoor or outdoor stairs and no elevator or ramp, we are unable to deliver the program at your school -- no exceptions.
  • A $50.00 (+GST) cancellation fee will be charged for all field trips canceled with less than 15 business days' notice.
